Our guide standards
Useful answers, with sources you can check.
Our guides help you understand residence procedures in Poland and prepare better questions about your own situation.
Official sources and practical explanations
We link to the official sources used for the legal points in a guide. These may include legislation, the Office for Foreigners, voivodeship offices, the Border Guard and the Labour Inspectorate. Our examples and preparation checklists explain how to organise the information; they are not a decision on eligibility.
Dates and scope
“Sources checked” refers to the date the cited information was reviewed for that version of the guide. It is not an automatic website build date. Older applications, a different residence basis or a change in the law may require a different approach.
Our service is separate from the public procedure
You can use official information and apply independently. STAYLEGAL provides paid preparation and case support under an agreed scope. The authority decides the application. A guide, checklist or service enquiry does not guarantee permission to stay or work.
